Is it possible to have a period when you're already pregnant?
Answer:
Some women do experience bleeding during pregnancy, but technically it is
not a menstrual period. However, this bleeding can seem to coincide with a
woman's normal cycle, so it can be confusing.
A very light or short "period" or spotting is one of several common early
symptoms of pregnancy.
Bleeding during pregnancy can also indicate that you are miscarrying. Please
consult a doctor or midwife if you believe you could be in danger of
miscarriage (and be sure to eat well and get plenty of rest).
